Date: 21st June 2020
Location: Pudding Pans, Hern Bay
Visibility: Half a Meter
The club took our RIB out to the pudding pans for an evening dive. There were six divers on the RIB and three crew to assist the divers. The plan was to perform a drift dive looking for Roman pottery on the sea bed. The first two divers kitted up and went in and were in the water for around 20 Minutes. Once the divers had resurfaced they informed the rest of the team that the visibility was not great and around half a meter. The rest of the divers went in and spent 20 minutes in the sea. Once all divers were recovered it was time to head back to shore to wash the kit and RIB down.
Overall it was a great evening.
