The Mindoro was a wooden and steel sailing ship, which was constructed in August 1864. The ship was 136ft in length and had a three-masted sailing barque.
The ship was registered in London weighing 436 tonnes and set sail for her maiden voyage on the 20th November 1864, from London with general cargo bound for Vancouver Island.
She collided with the Khersonese off the South Godwin’s and sank on 27th November 1864. All soles onboard were saved.
